Cardinal

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I got some new goodies in the last few months, I’ve started playing with them. Today’s card is with some new goodies from Simon Says Stamp. 

I started by die cutting an oval window from the center of a green piece of cardstock and embossed it with SSS Wispy Pine Needles 3D embossing folder. Then I inked the edges with Hero Arts ink. I die cut the SSS Brilliant Cardinal die and assembled the pieces. I also die cut a few pine boughs using ECD White Pine Pinecone and Bough die with 2 different shades of green cardstock. I then arranged the pine boughs and cardinals on the oval window and adhered them. To finish it off, I added some drops of gold stickles.
