Silver Tree

Hello everyone!! It's time for a new challenge here at Fairy Tales Challenge. Our new theme for this challenge is to make Christmas projects without red and green.

Here's what I've made to inspire you:

Many of us have memories of Christmas cards from our childhood. I remember a particular Christmas card from when I was a small kid (early 90's), that was dark navy blue and it had a snow scene in silver holographic foil. I loved that card and color scheme. So I decided to make one with the same combination.

The swirly tree is a die cut using  a file from Bird's cards. I embossed it with Zing silver embossing powder. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps - Unto us stamp set. I embossed it with the same silver embossing powder.

This is one of the cards for Caring Hearts Card Drive.

Thanks for stopping by. Do visit the Fairy Tale Challenge blog for more inspiration and to check the winner of the previous challenge.

  24. What a beautiful Xmas tree image, have never seen it before. It looks incredible in silver with that navy background. And love that you kept it clean of embellishments, it made the tree the star. So very glad you shared this with us at CAS-ual Fridays!!
