Wedding Shaker Card

Hello everyone! Today at Brutus Monroe, we are showcasing shaker cards with Brutus Monroe products.

I started by preparing the background first. I die cut the window on a piece of white card stock and grey card stock. Then I embossed the white card stock with Aztech Stars embossing folder and adhered it on to the grey card stock piece. Then I stamped and colored the cake image. I fussy cut the cake. I figured I don't need the candle for a wedding cake. So I cut it out. I stamped the sentiment and die cut it. I adhered it to the negative window piece from the gray cardstock and adhered it on the inside of the shaker pouch, exactly where the window will be. I then adhered the embossed panel on to the front of the shaker pouch. I adhered the shaker pouch to the card base (the shaker pouch has adhesive on the back). I added bottle cap sequins from Brutus Monroe to the pouch and sealed it by removing the release paper and adhering the top portion as well. Then I added the cake with foam squares.
