Hello everyone!! Today on Brutus Monroe we have a treat for you! We are showcasing our Fall/Halloween cards and we have a giveaway!! And I have a Fall card with a little surprise on the inside. Here's what I made for today.
I started by inking the front of an A2 card base with Maple ink and stamped the Barn Wall background stamp with the same Maple ink. I stamped a few pumpkins from Pumpkin Faces stamp set with Sidewalk ink for no-line coloring and colored them with Copics. Then I fussy cut them up. I took a piece of oval die cut and stamped the sentiment "hello Fall" from the Scarecrow stamp set with Macchiato ink. I then arranged a few pumpkins and a few die cut vines (which I cut on my Cricut long ago) on the die cut and adhered them with glue. I then adhered the oval on to the card base. Then I added a few orange sequins from my stash. Now let me open the card.
Yay! The inside is a tunnel card!! I was so much inspired by Jennifer McGuire's video a while back, I wanted to try these cards. I finally got around to making them now. Jennifer has shared a detailed video on how to make these, so I'm going to skip those details. I used cabbage and sea ink for the background in all 3 panels. The corn, pumpkins, hay and fence are all colored with Copics. I used Brutus Monroe glue to glue all the panels and all the fussy cut images.
So how do you like my card with a little surprise on the inside, today? Please do let me know in the comments!
