Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I’m back after a small break. Today I have a Christmas card using Altenew supplies, inspired by the current Altenew Inspiration Challenge.
I die cut 2 poinsettias using the Altenew - Poinsettia 3D die set with pink and green card stock. I added a little shading to the pink layers using copics. For the background, I used one of my favorite 3D embossing folder - Altenew Crisscross Blooms. I arranged the poinsettias and adhered them down. Then I cut off the extras hanging over the edge. Now, I couldn’t waste those pieces, so I added a few of those pieces to add some extra layers to the poinsettias 😉 For the sentiment, I die cut the Altenew - Fancy Peace in gold and adhered it to acetate for stability. Here’s the inspiration pic from the current Altenew challenge that inspired me to make this card. That and the current Altenew release.
What do you think? Please do let me know. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Berina, i’m glad you had a little break, but we’re glad you’re back to crafting too, because this is a stunning card! Altenew never disappoints! I love the color that you have chosen for these poinsettias. The gold is a really nice accent too. It will be Christmas before we know it! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We have a new challenge starting tomorrow and would love to have you join us again!
Thank you so much, Barb!

I love the pop of gold! Makes it feel so luxurious!
