Lanterns!!

I'm here to share with you another CAS Thank You card. I recently was selected in Friends with Flair Friday in Unity and received their prize on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised to find quite a lot of stamps in the package :). I wanted to try a few immediately! So here is the card:

The flower branch is the stamp from the set Get it Before They’re Hex-a-gone from Unity stamps. I inked it using brown and violet sketch pens and colored it with the same.

I hand drew the lanterns on a card stock, fuzzy cut it and covered it with washi tape and layered it on the card.

The sentiment is handwritten.

Japanese Washi Fans

Hello everyone!! I'm sharing another CAS thank you card :) I'm in need of quite a few thank you cards now, for a swap that I'm hosting. So you'll be seeing a few in the next couple of days as well.

Here is my card:

The Japanese fans are made by sticking washi tape on to fan-folded paper. A closer look at them here:

The strip on the top right is also a washi tape. The sentiment is hand written. The triangles on the bottom corners and the one on the top of the sentiment are all washi tapes.

Do let me know your thoughts and comments.

Fox Thank You

I'm sharing a 'Thank you' card that I made recently. Here is the card:

The Fox is a stamp from the Unity Stamp's Follow Your Own set. I fussy cut it and used foam tape for a dimension. The umbrella is a stamp, again from unity, an itty bitty called Cheer Up. It is paper pieced with washi tapes.

The grass is a washi tape punched with a border punch. The ones on the top corners are also the same washi tape but with a different border punch. the lace like one is also a washi tape which I have bought recently. I added a few sequins which I bought recently.

The sentiment is from a stamp set which I bought from Target on clearance sometime back. Believe me, it cost me less than a dollar and it had a stamp pad also :) We feel happy when we get a good price, don't we :) I drew the brackets and the line with sketch.

I made the card loosely following the sketch for the Unity Challenge.
