Hello all... I haven't posted in a long time. After the baby, we moved half way around the world to the US.. It took us some time to get settled here with the baby and now we have to look after the baby alone!! So now I get very very limited time to craft. It was very exciting to see snow for the first time and now I'm waiting to see Spring bloom.
Anyway, on to the card!!
I was inspired by the lattice cards that Indira had posted (check them here) and was determined to make one!! And now, especially with the time crunch I'm attracted to CAS cards!! (check my previous one here) So here is my card, inspired by the Spring flowers.
I made a Spring wreath around the round lattice window. I made the flowers using some new punches that I bought recently. I cut the leaves using punches. I couldn't stop myself from adding a cute butterfly, again to show off my newly bought punch :D
A closer look
A view from the side.
I have not added any sentiment. I'm planning to add it as required.
I love how this card has turned out!!
I'm planning to buy a die-cutting/embossing machine in the near future. Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance.
Do tell me your thoughts and comments. Hope to see you soon!
