Hello everyone! It's Wednesday today!! Today at Brutus Monroe we are having a blog hop and we are featuring March Stamp Club stamp set which is a cute hippo!
I used the Folkwave stencil with the lovely Oz surface ink to create the background. I just love how easy it is to create a beautiful blend with the surface inks. I created a gradient look with just one ink and it didn't take me long! I cut the card stock in to 4" x 5.5" and adhered it on to matching card stock of size 4.25" x 5.5". I stamped and colored the hippo with my Copic markers. I die cut it with a circle and inked the edges with the Oz ink to match the background. I stamped the sentiment "hi!" from the Tea Time stamp set on to the board the hippo has on his back :) Nice way to add a sentiment right? I adhered the circle on to the card.
I hope you like this card. If you have not tried the Brutus Monroe Surface inks, I highly recommend that you try them. It blends so smoothly and flawlessly! I have linked to all the products I have used today, below.
