Mother's Day

Hello everyone!! Today is blog hop day at Brutus Monroe and we are celebrating Moms today, by showcasing our Mother's day cards. Here's mine:

I took an A2 card base and stenciled it with the Stencil of the Month of April with Sidewalk ink. How gorgeous is that background!! Then I stamped the rose image from Happy Rose stamp set with Raven ink on a piece of white card stock and colored it with Copics. Then I fussy cut it and then colored the edges with a black Stylefile marker. The sentiment is from 2 different stamp sets - the word 'Mom' is from the Sharon's Script stamp set and the 'you are amazing' is from the Butterfly Sentiments 2.0 stamp set. After stamping the sentiment with Raven ink, I adhered the rose on to the card base.
