Congratulations Peonies

 Hello everyone!! Welcome back to my blog. I have tried a new color theme today. 

I recently got a few orders from Altenew and with each of my orders, there was a thank you card with a beautiful floral image and a coupon code. It was a nice surprise :) I loved coloring the images. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen a few. If not, you can follow me here. I used the panel to make another card. Following a Jennifer McGuire video, I cut the panel diagonally in to 2. I matted it with a aqua card stock and stamped the sentiment from the Arabesque Medallion stamp set. I took an A2 card base and stenciled with the Altenew Woven Stencil with Hero Arts Tide Pool ink. I added a thin frame of the same Aqua colored card stock on to the card base. Then, I adhered the floral panel with foam tape.

 Hello everyone!! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a card that I made with the thank you card that came along with my Altenew order.

I recently got a package from Altenew and along with the beautiful stamps sets, I got this lovely Thank you card. It had the image of the gorgeous Paeonia japonica stamp. I colored it with my copics. If you follow me on Instagram (@moxiecraftie) you would have probably seen this already.

I didn't want this beautiful card to go to waste. So I fussy cut the floral image out and decided to use it in a card. I took an A2 card base and used Altenew - Woven stencil to add some light blue ink on to it. I adhered the fussy cut flowers on to the card base. I die cut the sentiment 'thanks' using the Fancy Thanks die from Altenew on black shimmer card stock and adhered it on to the card. I added a few drops of Nuvo drops in black.

Hello Daffodils

 Hello everyone!! I'm here to share a beautiful Spring card with Daffodils.

I used the stamps from this old Heartfelt Creations stamp set called Daffy Daffodils. I the daffodils with Memento London Fog ink, colored them with Copics and die cut them with the coordinating dies from the set called Spring Medley die set. I die cut the basket using Simon Says Stamp Easter Basket die set on brown card stock. I arranged the flowers in the basket and adhered them with glue and foam squares. For the background, I used the Altenew Moroccan Mosaic cover die cut on white card stock and adhered it on to the card base. I cut out a frame with yellow card stock and adhered it to the background. For the sentiment, I die cut the hello using the Altenew Fancy Hello die on the same card stock used for the basket. I adhered the flower basket and the sentiment and added a some Nuvo drops in Yellow and Green.

Floral Birthday

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Brutus Monroe blog today, with this floral birthday card.

I stamped the floral background image from the Kind Floral stamp set and colored it with Copics. I enjoyed coloring the background - I love coloring floral images. The sentiment is from the Take Flight stamp set, which I heat embossed with Gilded Embossing powder. I adhered this panel on to an A2 card base.

Merry Christmas Lights

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Brutus Monroe blog today, with this Christmas card using one of the old stamps.

I stamped few lights using the Merry & Bright stamp with Sidewalk ink on white card stock and colored it with Copics. I fussy cut it and kept it ready. I took a piece of Brown Butter Cardstock and stamped the Barn Wall stamp with Macchiato ink. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Yuletide Greetings with Gilded Embossing powder and adhered the light bulbs on it. I drew the wire with a black Sharpie.

Brutus Monroe 5th Aniiversary

Hello everyone!! It's blog hop day at Brutus Monroe and today we are celebrating our 5th Anniversary!! 

I took a piece of Dark Grey card stock and stamped it with the Lace stamp which was a collaboration between Unity Stamps and Brutus Monroe, with Alabaster ink and let it dry. I love how the background looks!! I took another piece of the same colored cardstock and stamped the sentiment from Sharon's Script stamp set and cut it in to a banner and adhered it on to the card. This is a simple and elegant card, don't you think?

Fall Thank You

Hello everyone!! Today is  blog hop day at Brutus Monroe and we are using the beautiful subscription products from this month. Here's my card for today:

I stamped the current stamp of the month with Raven ink and colored it with Copics. I die cut it with an oval die. Then I took an A2 card base and inked it with Jack-O-Lantern ink over the current stencil of the month - isn't it gorgeous!! Then I inked about 1/4" on the left and right edges with the ink to give it a border. I adhered the oval panel on to it. I adhered a few acrylic bubbles on it.

Hello Paper Cranes

Hello everyone!! Today is blog hop day at Brutus Monroe. Today, our theme is Anything Goes.

I started by stamping the paper crane image from the Paper Cranes stamp set with Marsala ink on white card stock and cut it. I took a piece of Marsala card stock and stamped a few individual paper crane images on it with Marsala ink, for a tone on tone look. I adhered the white card stock panel on to this card stock and adhered the entire thing on to an A2 card base. I heat embossed the sentiment Hello from the Feathered Homes stamp set with Gilded Embossing powder. I cut it out in to a banner and matted it with a piece of Marsala card stock. I adhered this with foam tape on to the card.
