Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a floral birthday card to share with you.

I used the Honey Bee Stamps - Lovely Layers : Wildflowers die set to die cut the flowers in white and blended them with colored inks. I used inks from Altenew, Hero Arts and Brutus Monroe to color the flowers. Then I embossed a black panel with Simon Says Stamp - 3D embossing folder. Sentiment is also from Simon Says Stamp. I arranged the flowers the way I wanted and I adhered them with glue.

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a sparkly winter card.

I used the Simon Says Stamp - Refined Snowflakes 3D embossing folder to emboss the background. I die cut the sentiment using The Greetery - Abundant Joy die set with the same papers. I layered the snowflakes and adhered it on toe background. I then adhered the sentiment with foam tape. I added some gems to finish it off.

Winter Birthday

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a white on white winter birthday card.

I recently bought some new dies from the Simon Says Stamp Diecember sale. The Birthday Wishes and Forest Greenery dies are new from that haul. The Simon Says Stamp 3D embossing folder is also new to me. For the Birthday Wishes die, I used vellum for one of the layers.

Peace Sprig

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a card that I made for a few challenges.

I bought some Simon Says Stamp dies during the diecember sale and this Rustic Sprigs is one of them. I decided to use that on this white on white card. The background is the Simon Says Stamp - Holidy Greenery 3D embossing folder. I die cut 2 of the sprigs and arranged them on the embossed panel. The sentiment is Altenew - Fancy Peace, which I die cut in white and gray. I layered the white on grey slightly offset, so that it appears like a small shadow.

I love reading your comments. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Vintage Lantern

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today I have a Christmas card with a Christmas lamp.

I bought this Simon Says Stamp - Antique Lamp a while ago, but didn’t get a chance to use it. I just loved the samples the design team had done with it and wanted to do justice lol! I embossed a piece of blue cardstock with the embossing folder. This folder comes with a set of dies too, which I used to die cut pieces of white cardstock. It cuts out the lamp part of it. I embossed the die cut pieces with the folder again. Then I colored the die cut and embossed pieces with copics. The background blue cardstock which I embossed the entire scene - I blended some darker blue ink from around the edges until I reached the lamp. I also added some dark grey ink around the edges alone. I inked some yellow around where the candle flame is. I swiped my white ink pad gently to get some white on the snow fall. I then adhered the copic colored pieces on top of the embossed image in the background. I used my wink of Stella pen - which I discovered in my stash this week ;) - to add some shimmer to the sow on the lamp. That’s it!

Merry Christmas Bells

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I have another Christmas card today.

I had this cover plate die from Poppy Stamps for a long time. I decided to die cut a few panels with it. For this, I used green card stock and inked the edges with Brutus Monroe - Grass Stain ink. I die cut the bells using the die set from Simon Says Stamp on gold card stock and gold glitter card stock. The bow is from The Greetery - Fit to be Tied. Since the background has a lot of 'Merry Christmas', I decided not to add a sentiment separately.

Beach Day

Hello everyone! I'm sharing a beach scene light up card that I made for one of our friends' farewell.

The base of the scenery is the Hero Arts - Beach Frame die. I use copics to color in the various elements in the die cut. Here's the card with the lights on:

I had the 'switch' for the light up circuit on the bottom right corner of the card. So when I press it, the light in the light house turns on. I used EZ Lights for the light up circuit. The light house is a die from Gina Marie Designs - I removed the rest of the die cut. I cut it twice, so that I can sandwich the wires in between them. I colored it with Copics. Here's how it looks.

This is a 3 fold card, so the outer fold has a window with the lighthouse, the second panel had the sea view with a ship.

The sailboat is a die from Simon Says Stamp and I colored it with Copics too. For the background, I used Brutus Monroe inks. On the window side, I made sure to color the back side of the die cut as well I used another panel with a oval window cut out as a backing and to hide the wires and battery. Here's the view of the inside of the window with the lights on:

Here's the card fully open. It had plenty of space for all of us to write messages.

Hello Daffodils

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share a beautiful Spring card with Daffodils.

I used the stamps from this old Heartfelt Creations stamp set called Daffy Daffodils. I the daffodils with Memento London Fog ink, colored them with Copics and die cut them with the coordinating dies from the set called Spring Medley die set. I die cut the basket using Simon Says Stamp Easter Basket die set on brown card stock. I arranged the flowers in the basket and adhered them with glue and foam squares.
