Sparkling Snowflakes

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a sparkly winter card.

I used the Simon Says Stamp - Refined Snowflakes 3D embossing folder to emboss the background. I die cut the snowflakes using Simon Says Stamp - Joy Snowflake and Divinity Designs - Snow Crystals die set. I die cut them on white glitter and silver glitter papers. I die cut the sentiment using The Greetery - Abundant Joy die set with the same papers. I layered the snowflakes and adhered it on toe background. I then adhered the sentiment with foam tape. I added some gems to finish it off.

How do you like my card today. Please do let me know. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Hello everyone! I have finally started working on my Christmas cards! Here's a shaker card with a blue snowflake ornament.

For this card, I used the Hero Arts - Snowflake Ornament. I die cut it in blue card stock. I used shaker mix from Doodle Paper Playground. The sentiment is from Divinity Designs. I stamped the sentiment in blue color to match the ornament.

Filigree Christmas Tree

Hello everyone!! I wanted to share another Christmas card using Power Poppy digi today.

I printed the digi in gray and colored it with Copic markers. Even though it did seem a bit intimidating at first, I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed coloring it. I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die from Divinity Designs and gold embossed the sentiment from Divinity Designs - Christmas Mini stamp set. I matted the panel with green card stock. I had to take another pic at an angle to show the gold embossing.

Have you started making your Christmas cards for this year yet? Do let me know in the comments. Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day!!

Red Christmas Ornament

Hello everyone! I'm on the Craftwell blog, with a Christmas card - I know it's August, but I do like to get started on making a few different designs early and then decide on the one which I will be making for my family in India. Since this goes overseas, I like to mail them before Thanksgiving.

I used the Noel Ornament die set from Heartfelt Creations. I love the red and gold combo. I used ivory card base and layered gold and ivory card stock. To ground the ornament I added a holly bough, die cut with Sizzix Mini Holiday Greens die set and added a few red pearls as berries. For the sentiment, I used Divinity Designs Christmas Mini Set.

Christmas Cardinal

Hello everyone!! It's July already and I haven't shared any Christmas cards yet! Here's my first one for the year.

I used the Power Poppy - Season of Serenity digital image for this card and tried to color the bird as a cardinal. I will try it as Blue Jay for another card :) The die cut is from Spellbinders - Filigree Delight. For the sentiment, I gold embossed the "Merry Christmas" from Divinity Designs - Christmas Mini set.

How do you like my card today? Do let me know in the comments. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Christmas Window

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog today, with this Christmas card.

I started by cutting the window using the Spelbinders die from an A2 card base and a piece of Brown Butter card stock. I stamped the brown butter card stock with the Barn Wall stamp with Brutus Monroe Macchiato ink. I inked the die cut piece of window with the same ink too. I adhered acetate on the window and using a knife, cut out the panels on the acetate so that the window can still open and close. I sandwiched this acetate piece with the window, between the A2 card base and the brown butter panel. I die cut the candles on the window using the die from Divinity Designs. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Divinity Designs - stamp set with Gilded Embossing powder. I die cut the Christmas Tree (which is on the inside of the card) using the Spellbinders die on Brutus Monroe Glitterstock.

I'm loving using these dies on my Cut N Boss - it's really quick and easy. How do you like this card today? Please do let me know in the comments. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!!
