I used stencil from Brutus Monroe and fallen snow glitter glaze on Navy card stock. The glitter glaze turned this color, which is kind of pretty on the navy background. The sentiment is from Power Poppy - Glistening Paperwhites stamp set. I made another card using the same set of products.

Blue Snowflakes New Year

 Hello everyone! I have a quick and simple New Year card today.

I used the Inspired By Stamping - Snowflakes stamp set. Even though Inspired By Stamping is closed now, Joanna has the stamp sets in her Etsy shop. I stamped the snowflakes in 3 different teal shades of ink to create the background. The sentiment is from Power Poppy - Glistening Paperwhites stamp set.

Filigree Christmas Tree

 Hello everyone!! I wanted to share another Christmas card using Power Poppy digi today.

I printed the digi in gray and colored it with Copic markers. Even though it did seem a bit intimidating at first, I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed coloring it. I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die from Divinity Designs and gold embossed the sentiment from Divinity Designs - Christmas Mini stamp set. I matted the panel with green card stock. I had to take another pic at an angle to show the gold embossing.

Sparkling Candy Cane

 Hello everyone! I have another Christmas card to share with you today!

I used the Power Poppy - Candy Cane Classic digi for this one. I did a no-line coloring with Copic markers. I die cut it out with a Divinity Designs die set. For the background patterned paper, I used the juniper branch from Power Poppy - Glistening Paperwhites stamp set, stamped it with gold ink on red card stock. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and stamped using the same gold ink. On hindsight, I probably should have stamped the sentiment on a darker card stock to see the sparkle.

Christmas Wreath

 Hello everyone! I have another Christmas card to share with you all today.

I used the Power Poppy Beribboned Wreath digi and did a no-line coloring with Copic markers. I gold embossed the sentiment from Divinity Designs - Mini Christmas set. I decided to make my own pattern paper using the juniper branch from Power Poppy - Glistening Paperwhites stamp set. I stamped it with Ink on 3 - Fadeout ink and colored with Copics. I know I know - Juniper berries are not red, but I decided to go with the color theme of the card and color them red :) No berries were harmed in the making of this card ;)

 Hello everyone! I have a Christmas card to share with you today. 

I love this stamp set from Power Poppy. It's Glistening Paperwhites. I stamped it with the Ink on 3 ink for no-line coloring. I die cut the panel with a oval die. I layered it with green card stock and added the sentiment from the same stamp set.

Christmas Cardinal

 Hello everyone!! It's July already and I haven't shared any Christmas cards yet! Here's my first one for the year.

I used the Power Poppy - Season of Serenity digital image for this card and tried to color the bird as a cardinal. I will try it as Blue Jay for another card :) The die cut is from Spellbinders - Filigree Delight. For the sentiment, I gold embossed the "Merry Christmas" from Divinity Designs - Christmas Mini set.

Hyacinth

 Hello everyone!! I'm back with another floral card today, this time with Power Poppy Hyacinth in a Glass image.

I had printed this image on a white card stock with light grey colors for no-line coloring. I colored it with Copics. I enjoyed coloring it. Marcella's images have a lot of  details to it, it makes it so much easier to figure out how to color it. In case you didn't know, Power Poppy blog is back with challenges!

Always On My Mind

 Hello everyone!! Welcome back to my blog. I have made another card with the Altenew Inspiration Challenge colors. 

I stamped the Altenew Statement Flowers with black ink and watercolored it with my watercolor markers. I added a some light blue in the background. For the sentiment, I used the stamp from Power Poppy - Azalea stamp set. I matted the panel with black card stock. I added a few drops of Nuvo drops in black.

Sweet Cherries

Hello everyone!! It's been a while since I shared a card that is not part of my DT routine. Here's a card with a Copic - colored digi.

This sweet image of cherries is from Power Poppy stamps. I printed the image and colored it with Copics. I thoroughly enjoyed coloring this image. Coloring is something I really enjoy doing and Copic markers are my go-to medium for coloring. Right now, I have started coloring some Christmas digis, but I'm doing it real slow to enjoy the process!!

Christmas Poinsettia

Hello everyone!! Here's a Christmas card that I made a few months back using a beautiful Digital image from Power Poppy.

I printed the Poinsettia and Pomegranates Digital Stamp from Power Poppy with a light border, so that I can do no-line coloring. With the traditional Christmas colors in mind, I colored the image with copic markers. I colored the background too. I gold embossed the sentiment from the Christmas Mini Set from Divinity Designs and matted the panel with a red card stock. I love coloring Power Poppy images and this one was no exception. I colored this image while I was waiting in my doctor's office for the 3 hour Glucose test when I was pregnant - coloring really helped me take my mind off things!

Hello Friend

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share a card with one of the beautiful floral stamps from PowerPoppy. It's been a while since I colored one of these, so I thoroughly enjoyed the process!!

I stamped the floral branch from the Azalea stamp set with BM Sugar Cone ink for no-line coloring. I then colored the flowers with R17, R22 and R20 which gives a beautiful coral color. I used Y38 and E47 for the stamens. For the leaves, I used my usual combo fo G99, YG67, YG63, YG61 and YG03. The bark part looked good with E59, E57, E55 and E53. I die cut the panel with the one of the dies from Spellbinders Scalloped Borders 3 die set. I stamped the sentiment Hello Friend from Power Poppy Simply Camellias stamp set. I took a piece of coral card stock and stamped the small Azalea flower from the stamp set with BM Stargazer ink. I adhered it on an A2 card base and adhered the colored panel on top of it.

Poinsettia

Hello everyone!! After a long time, I'm posting a Christmas card that I made with a PowerPoppy image, today.

Most of you, who follow me for sometime might know that I love Marcella's floral images! This poinsettia (Poinsettia and Pomegranates Digital stamp) is no exception!! I loved coloring it with Copics. I made this card sometime back, but didn't get to share it then. I just adore the beauty of the curled leaves of the poinsettia!! The sentiment is from another PowerPoppy clear stamp set called Glistening Paperwhites, which I heat embossed with Gilded embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I added thin strips of double sided adhesive on the sides of the card base and added gold foil. Then I adhered the poinsettia panel on to it.

Power Poppy Hues To Use

May Your Holidays Sparkle

Hello everyone!! Hope you are having a great day so far. I'm here to share a Christmas card using one of the Power Poppy Stamps.

I stamped the image from Power Poppy - Glistening Paperwhites on kraft cardstock and colored it with Crayola pencils. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I adhered ScorTape of 1/8" thickness to create a border around the panel and embossed it with green embossing powder from Stampendous. I added a few Nuvo drops in color Bottle Green.

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone!! I'm in the Christmas card mode now and here's one Christmas card using Power Poppy stamps and digital images.

 

 I printed the Power Poppy Hollyberries digi on white cardstock - I have shared a tutorial on how I take printout of digital stamps without wasting cardstock here. I colored the image with Copics - G99, YG67, YG63, YG61 and YG03 for leaves and R59, R29, R35 and R32 for the berries. I matted it with red cardstock. I embossed the sentiment "Merry Christmas" from Power Poppy Glistening Paperwhites with black embossing powder from Wow! on vellum. I took a textured light green card stock panel of size 4.25" x 5.5" and embossed the pine leaf image from Power Poppy Glistening Paperwhites with Wow! White Pearl embossing powder. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you already know that I love this embossing powder. I added a bow (video tutorial here) with ribbon from Dollar Tree after adhering the image panel and the sentiment strip.

I love how this has turned out. I'm enjoying the 30 Day Coloring Challenge by Kathy. It really helps me to get ready for Christmas.

You're So Amazing

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share a card that I made today with Power Poppy Stamps.

I stamped the image from the Power Poppy - Simply Camellias stamp set with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored it with copics. I used YR68, Y38, Y35 and YR31 for the flower, G99, YG67, YG63, YG61 and YG03 for the leaves and BG49, Bg15, BG13, BG11 and BG000 for the dish and water. I also tried to add some shadow with C3, C1 and 0. The I cut it out with a oval die and added the sentiment from Power Poppy Azaleas stamp set. I inked the entire oval panel with Distress Ink Tumbled glass and applied Mermaid lagoon around the edges. I used the pattern paper from one of Studio G paper packs. I also added a bow with blue ribbon. I added a few drops of Glossy Accents for some dimension.

I've been asked a lot of times about how I make my bows. So I decided to make a video tutorial. This is my first video tutorial and I'm very excited to share it with you all.
