I used stencil from Brutus Monroe and fallen snow glitter glaze on Navy card stock. The glitter glaze turned this color, which is kind of pretty on the navy background. The sentiment is from Power Poppy - Glistening Paperwhites stamp set. I made another card using the same set of products.

Blue Snowflakes New Year

 Hello everyone! I have a quick and simple New Year card today.

I used the Inspired By Stamping - Snowflakes stamp set. Even though Inspired By Stamping is closed now, Joanna has the stamp sets in her Etsy shop. I stamped the snowflakes in 3 different teal shades of ink to create the background. The sentiment is from Power Poppy - Glistening Paperwhites stamp set.

New Year

Hello everyone!! Happy New Year! May this year bring you lots of Joy, Peace and Happiness!!

Today, at Brutus Monroe we are wishing you Happy New Year with our cards. Here's mine:

I took a piece of Raven card stock and heat embossed the lights from the String Lights stamp set with Gilded Embossing Powder. I then stamped the sentiment using the Uppercase Alphabet Outline stamp and Lowercase Alphabet Outline stamp set and heat embossed them with Gilded Embossing powder. For some final touches, I added a couple of golden sequins from the Handmade Holidays sequin mix.

Happy 2019

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Brutus Monroe blog today, with a New Year card! I know, it's too early right! But I had an idea on my mind, that I couldn't wait to try. So I just went ahead and made the card.

I started by die cutting the confetti on gilded and sterling glitter stock. I added these confetti and some irridescent sequins in to a shaker pouch. I added a raven card stock in to the shaker pouch as a backdrop for the shaker. I adhered the shaker pouch on to an A2 card base and added a golden glitter frame around it. Then I die cut the word "happy" from the golden glitter using the Happy Birthday die set. Then I stamped the numbers 2019 with embossing ink and heat embossed them with Gilded embossing powder. Then I die cut it in to a label and added it on to the card.

Fireworks!

Hello everyone! I'm on the Tubby Craft blog today, with 2 cards using fireworks! When Shruti sent me the pic of the stamp set, the first thought that came to my mind was New Year!! In India, the Church that we go to has a special firework show for New Year, after the watch night service! It has become a part of our New Year tradition and I miss it so much now! So here are 2 New Year cards that I made with the fireworks stamps.

Card 1:

This is my favorite of the 2! I started by inking an A2 card base with Saphire blue, Chinese blue and Jet Black. It created a beautiful night sky. Then I heat embossed the sentiment and the firework images using Brutus Monroe embossing ink, Gilded Embossing powder and Sterling Embossing powder. As you might have already guessed, I didn't wait for the background to dry!! I was too impatient to try the design I had on mind! So I had the embossing powder in places where I didn't want it. But it kind of gave the fireworks a golden halo. So I decided to leave it like that. Here's another pic of the card.

Card 2:

For the second card, I decided to go with colorful fireworks.

I stamped the fireworks image in Lawn Green, Emerald Green, Lemon Yellow and Imperial Red and the sentiment in Raspberry pink. I had a few boo boos here too!! I didn't clean the ink properly on the stamp before switching the color, which lead to a red-green firework, which kind of seemed cool ;) So I left it as it is. Here's another look at the card:
