Peonies

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a floral card to share with you.

It’s no secret that I love Susan’s Garden dies. I used the Spellbinders - Double and Single Peonies die set to make the flowers. I used leaves from this set and the Spellbinders - Foliage and Ladybugs die set. I used copic markers to add some shading to the flowers. The background die is also from Spellbinders - from the Amazing Paper Grace line called Cannetille Rectangle die set. I love the gold on black.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Red Peony

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a shadow box with a handmade flower in it.

Recently I watched one of Susan Tierney Cockburn’s live video where she showed how to make a shadow box, a different way. I wanted to try it. I used this Single And Double Peony die set from her line to make the flowers using red card stock. I used the Spellbinders - Amazing Paper Grace - Cannetille Rectangle die set to die cut the window and the frame in gold card stock. Here’s a closer look at the floral arrangement.

Dandelion Wishes

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a white on white birthday card with some sparkle and shine.

I used the Altenew - Geo Diamonds 3D embossing folder for the background. I die cut the Spellbinders - Make a Wish die set on white and white glitter paper. I arranged them and adhered them on to the embossed background. The sentiment is from Creative Expressions, which I also die cut on white glitter paper and adhered it to the card.

How do you like this sparkly card? Do let me know. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Lily of the Valley

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have an easel card with 3D flowers.

I used the Spellbinders - Susan’s Garden - Lili of the Valley die set for making the flowers and foliage. It was pretty easy to make and I love making 3D flowers. I die cut the oval window with Tutti Designs dies. The heart flourish on the right is a dies from Heartfelt Creations. The sentiment die is from Creative Expressions - Belated Birthday Wishes, which I die cut multiple times and snipped off the belated. Here’s a pic when it’s closed.

What do you think? Do let me know. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Peace, Love And Joy

Hello everyone! Today I have a card that I made for a couple of challenges.

I used the Spellbinders - Poinsettia die set designed by Susan Tierney-Cockburn to make the poinsettia. For the pine bough and pine cone, I used the Elizabeth Craft Designs - White Pine Pinecone and Bough, also designed be her. I decided to do a see through shaker window with arch dies. I used a mix of red and gold shaker mixes. The background is Altenew - Deck Planks 3D embossing folder. Now, this is an easel card.

The stopper for the easel is the sentiment die cut, which is Altenew - Fancy Peace. I layered multiple die cuts to get the thickness. The other part of the sentiment ‘Joy and Love’ is from the Inspired by Stamping -  Poinsettia stamp set, stamped in gold ink. Here’s a better look at the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by. Peace, Joy and Love for a wonderful new year!

On the red paper ornaments, I gold embossed the Hero Arts - holly stamp. For the background, I used the Altenew- Deck Planks 3D embossing folder. Ferny Birthday

Hello everyone! I'm back after a short break - crazy, busy life :) I've had this stamp set for a long time now, decided to finally use it for this card.

I stamped the fern leaves from Stampendous - Summer Leaves stamp set with Brutus Monroe - Jurassic ink and used second generation stamping to get a variation of color. For the sentiment and the panel I used the Spellbinders - All Occasion Sentiments stamp and die set with the same ink and same color card stock. I used the same card stock to mat the stamped panel as well.

Christmas Pinecones and Ornaments

Hello everyone!  I have a Christmas in July card with some pinecones and ornaments today.

I had this image of of Christmas ornaments hanging from a pine branch with pine cones in it with a kind of wood grain background on my mind, that was the inspiration for this card. I started by embossing a piece of 5 x 7 card stock with Craftwell - Woodgrain Cottage embossing folder and inked the raised edges with a light brown ink. Then I die cut all the pieces on my Craftwell SNAP. I used the Greetery - Botanicuts Pine Bough die set to die cut the pine cones on brown card stock. For the pine boughs, I used Spellbinders - Susan's Garden - Evergreen Foliage die set on light green card stock. I used my Copic markers to add some shading to the pine boughs. I used the Memory Box - Snowflake Ornament to die cut the ornaments. I used the Your Next Stamp - Merry Christmas die to cut the sentiment. Now it was just a matter of arranging the die cuts. I used liquid glue to adhere all of the die cuts.

For the inside of the card, stamped a simple sentiment in black and stamped some pine bough and some berry branches from The Ton - Outline Holiday Cones in gold ink. This card is easy to make in batches, I made 20 of them.

I loved how this turned out. Please let me know your thoughts and comments. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Christmas Cardinal

Hello everyone!! It's July already and I haven't shared any Christmas cards yet! Here's my first one for the year.

I used the Power Poppy - Season of Serenity digital image for this card and tried to color the bird as a cardinal. I will try it as Blue Jay for another card :) The die cut is from Spellbinders - Filigree Delight. For the sentiment, I gold embossed the "Merry Christmas" from Divinity Designs - Christmas Mini set.

Hibiscus

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a floral card using stencils.

I had bought this You Are Beautiful stencil set from Altenew few months back. Finally, got a chance to try it today. I don't have the stamp or die that goes along this stencil, I just wanted to try this stencil stand alone. It works so beautifully with ink blending. I added the sentiment from Fresh Freesias stamp set. I die cut the panel with Spellbinders edge dies. I added the green panel as the backing to this panel and added the floral panel on top of it. I also, added a hibiscus on the envelope.

What do you think of this card? Please do let me know in the comments. Thank you for stopping by.

Bumble Bee Birthday

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog today, with this shaped card.

I made a hexagon shaped card for my son's 1st birthday. We decided to do a bumble bee theme for his first birthday. I love making the banner and decor for my kids birthdays, this one was no exception. I made this birthday card and tag to go with his gift. I used the Create and Craft Hexagon dies to cut the shaped card. The bumble bee and the other hexagonal lace piece are dies from Spellbinders. I die cut all of these on my SNAP. The sentiment is from Inspired By Stamping. I added a few drops of Nuvo in black. Here's a close up of the card:

The tag uses similar elements, it's just smaller in size.

Here are a few pics of the decor and the cake that I made, from the day.

Hyacinths

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog today, with this floral card. I'm ready for Spring, after this past week of snowstorm and cold weather!!

I used the dies Fern, Stained Glass Window and Hydrangea dies from Spellbinders, cut on my SNAP. I cut multiples of the flower in 2 different shades and added some color to the center of the flowers with Copics. I shaped the individual flowers with flower shaping tools.

I took a sheet of same colored card stock and arranged the flowers on it like a hyacinth.

I cut around the outline after adhering the flowers down.

I made 2 of these and adhered it near the Stained Glass Window die cut. The sentiment is from a old Just Rite stamp set - one of my favorites!

Hello everyone!! I'm on Craftwell blog today, with a beautiful bookmark for kids.

I wanted to make something special for my daughter's class when they were doing virtual classes last year. We decided to make bookmarks for each one of them. I used this die set from Spellbinders, which had the clipboard, paper clips and pencil dies. I made a slim clipboard with the die and added a ruled paper on top of it. I then die cut the paper clips in a few different colors and adhered them on top. The pencil had a few different parts, most of which I die cut in white card stock and my daughter colored them with markers. After adhering all the pieces and stamping some quotes, I put it in laminating sheets and passed it through my laminator. Then I cut out the laminated bookmark, punched out a hole on top and added a yellow ribbon. That's it. We made around 25 bookmarks. It was so easy to make once we got the process down.

Special Day Lace

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog today with this beautiful and elegant wedding card.

If you've followed me for some time now, you'd probably know that I'm a big fan of Amazing Paper Grace dies. I bought this die a while back and never got to use it. I die cut it on Navy card stock and put it on top of white card stock. I tied a bow with silver glitter tulle for some elegance. I stamped the sentiment - it's from an old Just Rite stamp set, with navy ink on white card stock, cut it out and matted with navy card stock.

How do you like this quick and simple card? Do let me know in the comments. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!!
