Lily of the Valley

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have an easel card with 3D flowers.

I used the Spellbinders - Susan’s Garden - Lili of the Valley die set for making the flowers and foliage. It was pretty easy to make and I love making 3D flowers. I die cut the oval window with Tutti Designs dies. The heart flourish on the right is a dies from Heartfelt Creations. The sentiment die is from Creative Expressions - Belated Birthday Wishes, which I die cut multiple times and snipped off the belated. Here’s a pic when it’s closed.

What do you think? Do let me know. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Hoppy Spring Basket

Hello everyone! I'm o n the Brutus Monroe blog today with this beautiful Spring card with the cute basket with chocolate bunny and peeps.

I took a card base and inked the center with Honeysuckle ink. I used the Elegant Egg (stencil of the month) to ink the 4 corners with the Honeysuckle ink. I love the dreamy look you get with this ink. I stamped the peeps from the current stamp of the month, on a piece of white card stock with Sugar Cone ink and colored it with alcohol markers. I fussy cut the cute peeps and colored around the edges. I stamped the chocolate bunny with Macchiato ink and colored it too. Then I fussy cut it out and colored around edges. To make the basket, I cut thin strips of Brown butter cardstock and arranged them in parallel. I took a few more strips and weaved through the parallel strips. Then I turned the entire arrangement around and adhered a piece of cello tape to hold everything in place. Then I cut it in to a basket shape and inked it with Macchiato ink. I arranged the chocolate bunny and the peeps in the basket and drew the handle around it. I adhered everything on to the card base. For the basket part, I used foam tape. I adhered 1 peep outside the basket. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Raven ink.

Hoppy Spring

Hello everyone!! Today, for the Brutus Monroe blog hop, we are featuring this month's subscription products. Here's my card using some of the products of this month:

I took a card base and inked it with Stargazer ink through the Elegant Egg stencil, which is the stencil of the month of February. I'm loving this coral color of the stargazer ink. I then stamped the chocolate bunny, which is the stamp of the month of February, with Macchiato ink for no-line coloring. I colored the bunny with copic markers and fussy cut it. I embossed the sentiment "Hoppy Spring" from the same stamp set with the Pearl embossing powder, which is the current Embossing Powder of the Month, on Raven card stock and cut it out. I adhered the chocolate bunny and the sentiment on to the card base with glue.

How do you like my card for today? Please do let me know in the comments below.
