Birthday Tulips

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have another floral birthday card.

I used the Hero arts - Tulips stamp and stamped a bunch of flowers and leaves and colored them with copics. I fussy cut them and colored the edges black. I took a card base and used the Hero Arts - Art Deco stencil and Hero Arts - tide pool ink to do the background. I arranged the flowers and leaves in a bouquet and added the bow die cut from The Greetery - Fit to be a tied die set. For the sentiment, I stamped the happy birthday from the same stamp set and fussy cut it.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Peacock Birthday

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a birthday card with a beautiful peacock.

Recently I bought some craft stamps and dies from destash sites. This Hero Arts - Color Layering Peacock is one of them. I’ve been looking for them for a long time and finally found it in a destash group on Facebook. I first die cut a white card stock with the peacock die and then used it to stamp my layers. I used inks from Hero Arts (pine and emerald green), Brutus Monroe (dandelion and corn flower) and Memento (teal zeal). I fussy cut around the peacock (even though I already die cut it, I’m not a fan of having white border around) and filled in the white with a light copic marker. I die cut an oval piece with Tutti designs die and stamped the peacock feather on it. The sentiment is from Hero Arts - Tulip stamp set. For the background, I used Altenew - woven 3D embossing folder.

I used the Hero Arts - Jungle Frame fancy die to die cut the frame. The fox is from Hero Arts - Winter Critters stamp set, which I stamped, colored with copies and fussy cut. The wooden bark is from Honey Bee Stamps - Lovely Layers- Wood Vase die set. I decided not to add a sentiment on the front of the card.

Noel

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a shaker Christmas card to share with you.

Ok, by now you probably already know that I’m a big poinsettia fan ☺️ I loved this Hero Arts - Poinsettia window die and stencil set the moment I saw it during the release blog hop. But missed to buy it then. But soon, none of the stores had both the die and stencil in stock. Some stores had the die, some had the stencil. I waited for some time, but eventually bought them from 2 different stores ☺️ I just love the ease of creating a beautiful floral arrangement with a window - you can use it without the window too! I decided to make it a shaker window. I used inks from Brutus Monroe, Hero Arts and Memento. The sentiment is from Hero Arts - Christmas words fancy die set, which I die cut in a holographic red card stock. It was super fun and easy to make this card.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today I have another Christmas card today, with some red ornaments.

I started by die cutting some red ornaments using the Spellbinders - Heirloom ornaments die set on red and red holographic paper. On the red paper ornaments, I gold embossed the Hero Arts - holly stamp. For the background, I used the Altenew- Deck Planks 3D embossing folder. I die cut some Simon Says Stamp - Pine Needles Border on green cardstock and adhered it on top. The sentiment is from Creative Expressions.

Holiday Greetings

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! I'm in the spirit of making Christmas cards, so you will be seeing a lot of them in the next 1 - 2 months :)

This is a very somber version of the glittery card that I shared last week here. I used the same Hero Arts - Merry and Bright tag stamp and die set, except this time, I die cut the tag in white and green cardstock. I cut out only the leafy parts of the tag from the green card stock and adhered it on to the white tag and added some pearls for the berries. Again, a bow cut with The Greetery - Fit to be Tied dies, in regular red card stock. Background is the Altenew - Deck Planks 3D Embossing Folder.

Holly Joy

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today I have a simple and quick Christmas card to share with you.

Last year, I saw a lot of Christmas cards with this color combo and wanted to try it - I have not used this green for Christmas cards before. I must say this is a new favorite for Christmas cards now. I used the Hero Arts - Holly stamp and stamped it with Embossing ink on the green cardstock. I used the Brutus Monroe - Grass Stain ink to ink the edges of the panel. For the sentiment, I die cut The Greetery - Abundant Joy die on the same color card stock and gold card stock. I added a few gems and that's it!

Golden Ornament

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I'm sharing another Christmas card with you.

I had this Hero Arts - Merry & Bright tag stamp and die set for a while now and I didn't know where to use it. I had even moved it to my destash pile. But recently, I thought of trying a few different ideas with it and this card is one of them. I die cut the round tag die in gold glitter card stock. The sentiment comes with it, I stamped it on white card stock and cut it out. I die cut The Greetery - Fit To Be Tied die on red glitter card stock. For the background, I used the Altenew - Deck Planks 3D embossing folder. The gems are from Hero Arts as well.

Pinecone Wreath Ornament

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have Christmas card to share with you!

A week or so back, I took out some of my supplies (stamps and dies) that I haven't used at all or haven't used in a long time and put it on my craft table, hoping to get some inspiration to use them. I love this Hero Arts - Pinecone Wreath stamp, but I wasn't really sure how to use it. I had a few die cuts of the outer ornament part of the Hero Arts - Snowflake Ornament die cut lying around on my table. Deeing that, I thought of making an ornament with this wreath stamped in the center. Initially, I wanted to do a no-line coloring with Copics and stamped the image with Fadeout ink. Then I thought it would be better to use the leaves as is without coloring, so I stamped the image again with Memento green ink. Now the pine cones are also green, but I was able to color on top of it with Copics. I used brown shades to colors the pine cones. Then I ink blended the edges with the same green ink. The sentiment is from an Inspired By Stamping - Poinsettia stamp set, which I heat embossed in gold. For the background, I used Altenew - Deck Planks 3D Embossing Folder. I die cut an ivy vine from Spellbinders - Susan's garden die set.

Mushroom Birthday

Hello everyone! I have a birthday card with a wood/mushroom theme to share with you today.

I've been seeing lot of new releases with mushroom themed supplies and it inspired me to get out one of my die sets that I've had for a long time and never used yet. This is the Hero Arts - Mushroom and Ferns die set. I die cut all the images on white card stock and colored with Copics. For the background, I embossed a piece of brown card stock with Craftwell - Woodgrain embossing folder. I die cut a oval using Divinity Designs - Elegant Oval and stamped the sentiment from Altenew stamps. I arranged the mushrooms and ferns and adhered them down.

Beach Day

Hello everyone! I'm sharing a beach scene light up card that I made for one of our friends' farewell.

The base of the scenery is the Hero Arts - Beach Frame die. I use copics to color in the various elements in the die cut. Here's the card with the lights on:

I had the 'switch' for the light up circuit on the bottom right corner of the card. So when I press it, the light in the light house turns on. I used EZ Lights for the light up circuit. The light house is a die from Gina Marie Designs - I removed the rest of the die cut. I cut it twice, so that I can sandwich the wires in between them. I colored it with Copics. Here's how it looks.

This is a 3 fold card, so the outer fold has a window with the lighthouse, the second panel had the sea view with a ship.

The sailboat is a die from Simon Says Stamp and I colored it with Copics too. For the background, I used Brutus Monroe inks. On the window side, I made sure to color the back side of the die cut as well I used another panel with a oval window cut out as a backing and to hide the wires and battery. Here's the view of the inside of the window with the lights on:

Here's the card fully open. It had plenty of space for all of us to write messages.

Betta Birthday

Hello everyone! I'm sharing a fishy birthday card today.

I'm trying to use my craft supplies that have been neglected for so long. This stamp set is one of them, Hero Arts - Color Layering Betta Fish. I used Hero Arts - Ultra Pink and Brutus Monroe - Rouge inks to create this fish. I skipped the black outline layer since I wanted to give it a no-line look and fussy cut the image out. I created the frame by die cutting a oval, added some foam tape and used some sequin mix from Doodles Paper Playground - it even has a tiny shark in the mix, to keep the betta company. I attached the betta to a string and adhered the string down along the frame - this allows the betta to have some movement when shaking the card. The sentiment is from Altenew - Freesia stamp set.

Snowflake Ornament

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog today, with this Christmas card with shaker ornament.

I die cut the Rinea Gold foil with the Hero Arts Snowflakes and Ornament Fancy die. I embossed a piece of Brutus Monroe - Brown Butter cardstock with Woodgrain Cottage and die cut the ornament window on my Cut 'N Boss. I created the shaker window by using foam tape and acetate. I used Doodles Paper Playground - Ruby Sparkle blend for the shaker mix. I adhered the gold foil ornament on the acetate window. I also die cut the letters 'joy' using the die from Whimsy stamps, on gold foil and adhered it in the center.

Silly Six & Seven Heaven!

Hello everyone! It's Berina here today with 2 lovely cards using our new stamps and inks. I have made 2 cards in the same theme and color scheme, yet they are different!

Card 1:

I love these ink colors! How gorgeous are they blended together!!

To make this card, I took an A2 card base and used the Hero Arts Deco Pattern stencil (one of my favorites!) and adhered it to the card base. Then I masked the center part with a oval mask on the stencil. Then I inked the card base with Aqua Blue ink and Lawn Green ink, overlapping them a bit to create the lovely teal color. Then I removed the oval mask in the center, and inked that area very lightly with the same colors. Then I stamped the 6 image and the sentiment with Jet Black ink.

Card 2:

This card also uses the same color scheme, but I left a white center for a cleaner look. I used the same method as above, with Hero Arts Glorious Petal Stencil. I adhered the stencil on to an A2 card base. Then I masked the center part with a oval mask on the stencil. Then I inked the card base with Aqua Blue ink and Lawn Green ink, overlapping them a bit. Then I removed the mask and the stencil and stamped the 7 image and the sentiment with Jet Black ink.

How do you like my cards today? I love these new ink colors!! Aren't they gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!
