Lifetime of Love

Hello everyone! I have a quick and easy 'watercolored' card today.

I used the Inspired By Stamping - Love Sentiments stamp set to make this card. Even though Inspired By Stamping is closed, Joanna has some of the stamp sets on Etsy. This techniques is something Joanna had shared long time back. I stamped the leaves and flowers with distress ink on watercolor card stock and used a wet brush and some more inks to create the watercolored look. Finally added the sentiment from the same stamp set.

How do you like this card? Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

The second card also uses the Pristine Peonies stamp set. This time, I heat embossed the outline image and used the stencil to color the image. It was super quick! The sentiment is also from the same set.

Next up, I have this card using the Craft A Flower - Tulip Full Bloom. This flower was so easy to make - the instructions made it really easy to make this beautiful layered flower. For the background, I used one of my all time favorites - Deck Planks 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Fresh Freesia stamp set.

This card uses the Craft Your Life Project Kit - Floral Acanthus kit. I used the embossing folder to emboss a piece of white card stock and then used stencil to color it in. The sentiment is from the stamp set in the kit.

Last, but not least, is my card using the Paint A Flower - Hibiscus. I loved coloring the flowers with my alcohol markers. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Hello Coral Flowers

Hello everyone!! Welcome back to my blog. I have a watercolored floral card to share with you today.

I made another card for the Altenew Inspiration Challenge this month. I stamped the Statement Flowers on watercolor cardstock with Ink on 3 Fadeout ink for no-line watercoloring. I used my watercolor pens to watercolor the image. I used coral and brown for the flowers and leaves. I decided to make this into a mini slimline card. I embossed the background with Deck Planks 3D Embossing Folder - one of my all time favorites and matted it with brown card stock. I die cut the sentiment using the Fancy Hello in brown and added it to the card.

What do you say? This color theme is one of my favorites! Do let me know what you think. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day.

Climbing Clematis

Hello everyone!! Welcome back to my blog. I have a beautiful card using watercolored Clematis.

I recently bought the Clematis stamp from Altenew and couldn't wait to color it. I stamped it on watercolor card stock and colored with Chromatek pens. I was inspired by a tutorial by Jennifer McGuire to cut the panel and add the sentiment in that space. I stamped the Arabesque Medallion on the coral card stock with Brutus Monroe Stargazer ink and adhered the cut up watercolored panel. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in black. I matted the entire coral card stock panel with black before adhering it down on to the card base.

Lilies

Hello everyone!! Welcome back to my blog. I have a card with some watercolored Lilies today.

I stamped the Darling Lily stamp from Altenew, on watercolor card stock and colored it with Chromatek pens. The colors are inspired by the current Altenew Inspiration Challenge hosted by Virginia. I cut out a small strip diagonally from the watercolored panel and heat embossed the sentiment from Statement Flowers stamp set in white in that space, on the black mat. I learnt this technique from a Jennifer McGuire video.

What do you think? Lily is the Flower of the month of May. I love lilies - especially their huge stamens. Thank you for stopping by. Have a nice day.
