Bumble Bee Birthday

 Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog today, with this shaped card.

I made a hexagon shaped card for my son's 1st birthday. We decided to do a bumble bee theme for his first birthday. I love making the banner and decor for my kids birthdays, this one was no exception. I made this birthday card and tag to go with his gift. I used the Create and Craft Hexagon dies to cut the shaped card. The bumble bee and the other hexagonal lace piece are dies from Spellbinders. I die cut all of these on my SNAP. The sentiment is from Inspired By Stamping. I added a few drops of Nuvo in black. Here's a close up of the card:

The tag uses similar elements, it's just smaller in size.

For The Record

Hello everyone!! I'm back after a short break! We bought a house recently and moved in this week. I finally got a chance to unpack some of my craft supplies and play with them :) Here's a card that I made for my husband for our Wedding Anniversary.

Me and my husband grew up in India in the 80's and 90's. The cassette tape brings nostalgic memories to both of us!! So when I saw this stamp set from Brutus Monroe, my first thought was to make a card for my husband. I die cut the new die of the month on Charcoal Glitterstock. I adhered it on to an A2 card base. I stamped the musical notes from the Rock On stamp set on each of circle holes with Sidewalk ink. I stamped the cassette tape which is the current stamp club of the month stamp set with Raven ink and colored it with copics and fussy cut it. I stamped the sentiment on to it with Raven ink. The sentiment 'For the record' is from the Rock On stamp set, which I stamped with Gargoyle ink and fussy cut. I die cut a circle and randomly stamped a few musical notes with Sidewalk ink. I adhered this circle on to the card base with the glitter die cut and adhered the sentiment and the cassette on top of it.

Hello everyone! I'm on the Brutus Monroe blog today with this monochromatic masculine card using the Glitterstock.

I took the Charcoal Glitterstock and die cut it with the Star Stitched Dies and created those solid stars and the star frames. I cut a thin strip of charcoal glitterstock and adhered it along the edges of an A2 card base. I adhered the die cut stars and star frames throughout the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Super Sentimental stamp set with Midnight surface ink and matted the panel with a piece of charcoal glitterstock. I added the sentiment with foam tape.
