Floral Background

Hello everyone!!! Today we are having a Anything Goes blog hop at Brutus Monroe and our Guest Designers are joining us today! I've made 2 quick and easy cards for today using 1 beautiful background stamp.

Card 1:

I stamped the Botanical Background stamp on a piece of Rouge card stock with Gargoyle ink. How gorgeous is this background!! I trimmed it to 4" x 5 1/4". I adhered a piece of dark grey card stock on an A2 card base and adhered this stamped panel on to it. I stamped the sentiment "Sorry for your loss" from the Sharon's Script stamp set with Alabaster ink on the same dark grey card stock and them heat embossed it with Pearl embossing powder. I trimmed the edge in a horizontal way and adhered it on to the stamped panel.

That's a quick and simple sympathy card! Easy to make as well!!

Card 2:

For the second card, I stamped the same Botanical Background stamp on Sea card stock with Sea ink for a tone on  tone look. I adhered it on to an A2 cardbase. I die cut a piece of white card stock with the Label die from Inspired By Stamping and inked the piece with Sea ink while it was still on the die. It gives a beautiful colored die cut with a white border all around. Then I stamped the sentiment "Good Luck" from the Sharon's Script stamp set with Raven ink. I adhered this on to the card with foam tape.

That's a second quick and easy card with the same stamp set! I'll let you in on a little secret. I have one more card using the same stamp set which I will share tomorrow!! shhh! ;)

GIU Day 3 - Comfort And Peace

Hello everyone!! Welcome to Day 3 of my Growing in Unity week. I have a soft and simple card for today.

I stamped the flowers from the Never Be Afraid stamp set with the Brutus Monroe Sidewalk surface ink for no-line coloring. Then I stamped the sentiment with black ink. I colored the image with my copic markers. I used R59, R29, R37, R35 and R32 for the flowers, C7, C5, C3 and C1 for the flower centers and G99, YG67, YG63 and YG03 for the leaves and stems. I adhered a piece of grey card stock on to an A2 card base. I then trimmed the image panel to 4" x 5 1/2" and adhered it on to the card. I love how soft and calm it looks!
