GIU Day 4 - Birthday Flowers

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today is Day 4 of my Growing in Unity Week. Today I have a mini slim line floral card for you using Single Flower Miracle stamp set.

Today I decided to do some watercoloring. I stamped the floral image a few times around the edge of a watercolor panel and colored them with watercolor pens. I did a mini slimline style again.

GID Day 3 - Having Fun

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today is Day 3 of y Growing in Unity week. Today's card is not my usual style. I have used the Having Fun stamp set.

I stamped the image with Brutus Monroe - Maple ink and die cut it with Hexagon die. I dry embossed a piece of kraft card stock with Altenew - Geo Triangles embossing folder. I did not spritz the paper with water so I got a lighter embossing on the card stock. I added a few brown sequins to the piece. This card is completely out of my comfort zone :D.

GIU Day 2 - Wonderful Flowers

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today is Day 2 of my Growing in Unity Week. Today I have a mini slim line floral card for you using Linen Flowers stamp set.

I wanted to make this card in mini slim line style. I stamped the floral image with Ink on 3 - Fade Out ink for no-line coloring and colored it with Copic markers (I used R24, R22 and R20 for red, G99, YG67, YG3, YG61 and YG03 for green). This image reminds me of embroidered flowers on frocks from my childhood. I stamped the sentiment over the flowers. I did not have a matching color card stock for matting. So I colored the edges of the card base with R22 (middle color I used) to match with the flowers. For pearls, I took some white pearls and colored them with R24 (darkest color I used) to match perfectly!

How do you like this card? Let me know in the comments. Unity Stamps has generously offered $20 gift credit to 2 people who comment on my GIU posts. You have until Sunday night to comment on all my GIU posts. I will pick 2 random winners on Monday.

GIU Day 1 - Hello Sunflowers

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Hope you all had a great weekend. This week, I am so excited to take part in Growing In Unity. I've done this a few times, few years back, so you might have seen this already. This week, I will be showcasing different Unity stamps in my cards.

Here's y Day 1 card using Hello Gorgeous stamp set.

I started by stamping the image with Ink on 3 Fadeout ink for no-line coloring and colored it with Copics. I took a piece of brown card stock and embossed it with Craftwell - Woodgrain Cottage embossing folder and smooshed some dark brown ink on it. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white card stock, cut it out and mated with brown card stock. I adhered all the layers to a top folding A2 card base and added some enamel dots from Altenew.

Joy

Hello everyone!! Today, some of us who participated in Growing in Unity are blog hopping with our favorite Unity stamp sets. I've made a Christmas card for you today:

I started by stamping the girl from the Unity Our Hearts to Yours stamp set with Sugar Cone ink from Brutus Monroe. Then I colored her with Copics using R59, R29, R37 and R35 for red, G99, YG67, YG63 and YG03 for green, E59, E57, E55 and E53 for hair and E11 and E00 for skin. I stamped the poinsettia on her sweater with embossing ink and heat embossed it with gilded embossing powder. I added the snow effect with snow marker. I also heat embossed the 'Joy' on the ornament with the same gilded embossing powder. I die cut this panel in to a circle. I took a piece of lunch bag card stock from Brutus Monroe and stamped the Barn Wall background stamp with Macchiato ink. I punched out some pine leaves using the Clover glitter stock and arranged them in a circle on to the background. I adhered the glitter pine leaves and some negative cuts as well, on to the background. Then I adhered the stamped and colored panel on to it with foam tape. I added a few red pearls to finish off the card.

How do you like this card? Please do let me know in the comments below. Also, Unity Stamps is giving away prize packs to 2 random winners.
