GIU Day 1 - Thinking Of You

Hello everyone!! Welcome to my blog. Happy 4th of July to all my friends and readers in the US. I'm so excited to be Growing In Unity this week. I will be sharing projects that I made with Unity Stamps, from Monday to Friday. Let's get on to the project for today.

I made a clean and simple card for today.

I stamped the smaller butterfly from Unity Stamps' Gina and Me stamp set. I watercolored it with Distress ink Peacock feathers. This color is definitely one of my favorites of the distress ink colors. I stamped the sentiment 'Thinkng of You' from the Unity Stamps' Basically Said stamp set. I mounted the white panel on a matching card base.

So how do you like this card? Do visit me every day this week, and leave your thoughts and comments. I will pick 2 winners at the end of this week and they will win 25 random stamps from Unity!! How awesome is that!! See you tomorrow with another new and exciting project.

Thinking of You

Hello everyone!! I'm here to post a CAS card that I made today.

I cut out the lattice design using my cricut. I used a cut file from Bird's cards and modified it to fit my card. I used black paper for the lattice.

The heart is a stamp from the CTMH Family is Forever stamp set. I stamped it on black paper and heat embossed with gold powder. I then fuzzy cut it and used a foam tape for some dimension. The sentiment is stamped using stamps from the Winnie & Walter - The Big, The Bold and You stamp set. I added a few sequins from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by. Do leave your thoughts and comments.
