Foiled Joy!

Hello everyone! I'm on the Brutus Monroe blog today with a lovely Christmas card. As you might already know, this week Brutus Monroe and Winnie & Walter are collaborating this week to give you lots of inspiration with their products! Here's what I created for today!

I started by applying the Deco foil transfer gel on to a piece of white card stock of size 4" x 5 1/4" on the Scenery: Buffalo Check Creative Screenings and let it dry. Once dry, I foiled it with Gold foil. Then I inked the entire panel with cabbage ink. Love the combination of the green and gold. I stamped the poinsettia from In Bloom: Elsa's Flora with red ink and colored it with my copics. Then I fussy cut it and colored the edges with a red marker. I die cut a oval and heat embossed the sentiment "Joy" from Holiday Card kit stamp set with Gilded embossing powder. I stamped the pine leaves from the same set with Cabbage ink and the berries with Sidewalk ink. I colored the berries with my copics. Then I adhered the poinsettia on to the oval die cut. I took an A2 card base and adhered double sided tape on to all 4 edges. I removed the release paper and adhered gold foil on to it. Then I adhered the panel that I had foiled and inked on to the card base with glue. I used foam tape to adhere the oval die cut on to the card. I think I like this color combination.
