Happy Holidays

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Scrapbookpal blog!! I'm here to share a quick and elegant Christmas card. It's almost Christmas - how did this happen? If you are like me, still needing a few more Christmas cards, you are in the right place. This card takes less than 30 minutes to make, from start to finish. How's that for a win!

Take a teal card stock panel of size 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink the edges with Memento Teal Zeal ink to give more depth to the card.

I dusted the panel with powder tool. Now take Altenew - Small Moments stamp and go to town with the beautiful fractal pattern! I stamped the snowflake along the edges of the panel with Versamark embossing ink. Now take Ranger Perfect Pearls in Heirloom Gold color and dust it over the stamped patterns.

I heat embossed the sentiment "Happy Holidays" with gold embossing powder and adhered the die cut around the sentiment.

To finish the card, I added a few drops of Nuvo drops in pale gold color.

That's it! Such a quick and easy card to make.

You Are Awesome

Hello everyone! I'm here to share card that I made recently.

 

I stamped the kingfisher from Inspired By Stamping Australian Nature I stamp set with Hero Arts black ink and colored it with Crayola pencils (no, not my daughter's, I bought a pack of 64 for myself :) ). I fussy cut it with scissors. 

I took a piece of white cardstock about 5 1/2" in length and 1 3/4" in width and adhered the bird toward the bottom of the panel. I could have stamped it on the panel, but I felt this gives it a bit more dimensional look.

 I stamped the sentiment You are Awesome from Inspired By Stamping You Are stamp set towards the top of the panel with Hero Arts black ink.

I took a top-folding A2 card base in navy blue color and stamped the circles from the Inspired By Stamping Polka Dots stamp set with versamark ink. I then applied Ranger Perfect Pearls - Pewter using a watercolor brush.

I repeated the polka dots till I was satisfied with the pattern.

Here's a look from another angle, to show the subtle shimmer of the Perfect Pearls.

Then I adhered the white cardstock panel at an angle to the card base and trimmed the edges that were hanging off the sides.
