Yuletide Greetings

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Brutus Monroe blog with this simple, easy to make Christmas card.

I started by cutting the patterned paper from the Winter Cabin paper pad in to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhered it on to an A2 card base. I die cut a circle from the red and black plaid and heat embossed the sentiment from the Yuletide Greetings stamp set on to it with Gilded embossing powder. I adhered it on to the card. I stamped the bells from the same stamp set on to a piece of scrap paper, colored it copics and fussy cut it. I adhered the bells on the top of the circle. Now, that's a quick and simple Christmas card.

Brutus Monroe Blog Hop

Hello everyone!! Today is blog hop day at Brutus Monroe and our theme today is the ever popular Anything Goes ;)

I'm still in awe of the new release at Brutus Monroe!! These jars are from the Jars Of Love stamp set. I stamped them with Raven ink and colored them with Copics. Then I fussy cut them with my scissors. I cut up a piece of the Rustic Florals paper and adhered it on to an A2 card base. I heat embossed the sentiment with Coffee Grounds embossing powder, which was one of the previous embossing powder of the month. I then die cut 2 circles - 1 from Brown Butter card stock and another smaller one from white card stock and adhered them together. I adhered the jars on to the circle and adhered it on to the card base.

Calendar 2014 - Part 2

Here comes he second part of the desk calendar that I made for my husband.

To view the previous part, please go here: Part 1

For the month of April, I used a stencil from Itsy Bitsy and colored it with sketch pen.

For the month of May, I tried tiling with patterned paper from Itsy Bitsy for the first time. I've been wanting to try tiling for a long time and I'm quite satisfied with this result.

For the month of June, I used a stencil from Itsy Bitsy with glitter pen.
