Anniversary Wreath

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share another anniversary card that I made. Of late, I seem to be making quite a few gate fold cards and this is one of them.

Here it is:

The image is a newsletter exclusive from Inspired By Stamping. I love this image. I've been waiting to use it from the day I say it in my mail :) I fuzzy cut one half of the image. I colored it using my Faber Castell connector pens. I used some glitter on the butterflies.

The sentiment is "written" by my Cricut Explore. The image is also "drawn" by Cricut Explore. Still learning the curves :)

The ribbon and brad are from my stash.

Filigree Heart

Hello everyone!! I'm sharing the card that I made for my husband on our 4th wedding Anniversary, which was on June 3rd. I had to make a second card, since I couldn't stop myself from adding flowers on the first one :)

Here is the card:

It is a gate fold card with overlapping panels from both sides. I used DCWV Blue Stripe pattern paper. The image is Lili of the Valley's Filigree Heart stamp. I used Navy blue ink for stamping.

Both the sentiments are hand-written. How do you like it? Back when I was in school, I used to write in a similar way in my record notes :) After a long time, I tried to write that way :)

A closer look at the overlapping gate fold panels:

The ribbon and the glitter heart are from my stash.

Anniversary Flowers

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share another anniversary card that I finished this week. It took me quite some time to make this card, mainly because I was lost as to how to make it :) Halfway through the card, I thought of scrapping it and doing it from start. But then I thought if adding few flowers and it made all the difference :)

Here is my card.

I cut out the lattice pattern on my Cricut with yellow paper. The cut file is from Bird's cards. I adhered it to the white card base.

I've been watching Emma Lou's (from Heartfelt Creation) video on how to shape a flower again and again. And each time I'm amazed at how beautifully she makes them. I was inspired by the video and thought of trying one of the flowers ( I really want to try all the flowers. I really need 48 hours in a day!! LOL!!) After few not very successful attempts and repeated viewing of the video, I made these flowers. The cut file is one of the free ones in Cricut Craft Room. The pollen and leaves cut files are from Bird's cards. I shaped the leaves as well.

The sentiment is hand written.

Happy Anniversary

Hello everyone!! I'm back after a short break. And I have few anniversary cards to share, which I'll be doing one by one.

The first one is a CAS Anniversary card.

I used a 6x6 sheet from the DCWV Embossed White paper pad. I sponged it with Tsukineko VersaMagic Mauve ink. I used the same ink to sponge the sides of the card base as well.

The die cut is from my stash. I sponged it with the same ink. The sentiment is hand written and heat embossed. The ribbon and brad are from my stash.

Please let me know if there is any efficient way of inking an embossed paper. I'm not satisfied with this result. Do tell me your thoughts and comments. Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Anniversary

I'm back again, with a card that I made for our friend's Wedding Anniversary.

This is a small card with flowers and butterfly.

The sentiment is hand written. The butterfly, leaves and the border are using punches.

The flowers are handmade by me. I will share the tutorial for the flowers

Explosion Box

Hello all.. I'm back with another creation. Yesterday was our 3rd anniversary :) It's been 3 happy years with my lovely husband. I wanted to make something special for my husband. I've been wanting to try out an explosion box for quite some time and decided to give it a go. So here is my anniversary explosion box.

To embellish the lid, I used a few punched flourishes. I added a diecut and wrote "Happy Anniversary". The glitter is a 3D liner.

The outside of the box is pretty CAS with a few hearts on a couple of side.

I used the Filigree Heart stamp from Lili of the Valley and used 3D glitter outliner on it.

On the inside, I wrote some quotes about marriage and added some charms on each side.

The puzzle piece and birds charms are from Blue Moon beads. The small glass bottle is from Pinque Peacock. The black ribbon is from my stash.

The centerpiece is a lattice arch with creepers on it (stopped myself from adding flowers on it). Added some flowers on the floor too.

The arch is perfect to hold some message.

What do you think of it? Please leave your comments and thoughts.
