Hello Fall

Hello everyone!! Today is Blog Hop day at Brutus Monroe and our theme for today is the new Patterned Paper Pads.

I stamped the pumpkin, gourd and corn from the Autumn Essentials Stamp Set with Sidewalk ink. I colored them with Copics and fussy cut them. I took a piece of the patterned paper from the Autumn Foliage Paper Pad and cut it to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I adhered this to an A2 card base. I die cut a circle from a piece of white card stock and adhered it on to the card. I adhered the fussy cut images and stamped the sentiment with Macchiato ink

How do you like my card for today? Please do let me know in the comments below. Here's the blog hop for today:

Brutus Monroe Patterned Paper

Hello everyone!! Today is blog hop day at Brutus Monroe and our theme for today is Patterned Papers.

I took a sheet of paper from the Rustic Florals paper pad and cut it to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I inked the edges with Suede ink to give a more rustic/warm look. Then I die cut the sentiment 'Thanks' from Mocha glitterstock with the Thanks die and adhered it with glue.

How do you like my card today? Please do let me know in the comments below. Here's the hop order for today:

One Step At A Time

Hello everyone!! Today is blog hop day at Brutus Monroe. Today we don't have any specific theme, it's Anything Goes. Here's my card for today:

Have  you seen the Christopher's Shoes stamp set? Isn't is so pretty?? I loved coloring it. I stamped the shoes with Sidewalk ink and colored it with my copics. I then die cut it with a circle. I used the beautiful papers from the Fabulous Flamingo paper pad - how gorgeous are the designs!! I then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with embossing ink and embossed it with the current embossing powder of the month. But I messed it up. So I heat embossed the same sentiment in another piece of card stock, fussy cut it and adhered it on to the circle panel ;)

Floral Happy Birthay

Hello Everyone!! I'm posting this in my blog after a very long time. Like I had mentioned in my previous post, I had gone to India for a little more than 2 months. As soon as we came back, me and my daughter had cold and fever. Now both of us are doing good. So I decided to work on my craft table. And here's what I made.

This is a pretty new style for me. I have not made many cards with pattern papers and layers. So this is indeed a giant leap for me, from the CAS style. I sponged the edges of a white cardstock with VersaMagic Oasis Green ink. The pattern paper is from Colorbok - Delilah paper pad. The white embossed paper is from the DCWV Embossed Paper pad. The other white panel on the bottom right is cut from my Cricut using the Stitched Frames by Inspired By Stamping (this was released as a freebie in one of their newsletters (You should check out this month's free digi. It's very beautiful). I used VersaMagic Oasis Green ink to color the edges of this frame as well. The pearls are from my stash.

The center panel is a die cut that I had in my stash. Again, the edges were inked with VersaMagic Oasis Green ink to match with the color scheme. I stamped the sentiment from a stamp set that a dear blog friend Holley of Holley's Blog had sent recently. I again used the VersaMagic Oasis Green ink for stamping and embossed it with clear powder.

The flowers and buds are handmade. I used my flower punch and ear buds. The leaves are die cut. I enjoyed making them and they did come out very well.

Edit: Adding a few more photos.
