Pinecone Wreath Ornament

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have Christmas card to share with you!

A week or so back, I took out some of my supplies (stamps and dies) that I haven't used at all or haven't used in a long time and put it on my craft table, hoping to get some inspiration to use them. I love this Hero Arts - Pinecone Wreath stamp, but I wasn't really sure how to use it. I had a few die cuts of the outer ornament part of the Hero Arts - Snowflake Ornament die cut lying around on my table. Deeing that, I thought of making an ornament with this wreath stamped in the center. Initially, I wanted to do a no-line coloring with Copics and stamped the image with Fadeout ink. Then I thought it would be better to use the leaves as is without coloring, so I stamped the image again with Memento green ink. Now the pine cones are also green, but I was able to color on top of it with Copics. I used brown shades to colors the pine cones. Then I ink blended the edges with the same green ink. The sentiment is from an Inspired By Stamping - Poinsettia stamp set, which I heat embossed in gold. For the background, I used Altenew - Deck Planks 3D Embossing Folder. I die cut an ivy vine from Spellbinders - Susan's garden die set.

Christmas Wreath

Hello everyone! I have another Christmas card to share with you all today.

I used the Power Poppy Beribboned Wreath digi and did a no-line coloring with Copic markers. I gold embossed the sentiment from Divinity Designs - Mini Christmas set. I decided to make my own pattern paper using the juniper branch from Power Poppy - Glistening Paperwhites stamp set. I stamped it with Ink on 3 - Fadeout ink and colored with Copics. I know I know - Juniper berries are not red, but I decided to go with the color theme of the card and color them red :) No berries were harmed in the making of this card ;)

What do you think of this card? Please do let me know in the comments. Thank you for stopping by, Have a great day!

Yuletide Wreath

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Brutus Monroe blog today, with this lovely Christmas card.

I stamped the wreath from the Yuletide greetings stamp set with Sugarcone ink and colored with Copics. I fussy cut the wreath and colored around the edges. I cut a piece of the patterned paper from the Winter Cabin paper pad. I heat embossed the sentiment with Gilded embossing powder. I adhered this panel on to an A2 card base and adhered the wreath on to it.

Be Happy

Hello everyone!! Today is Blog hop day at the Brutus Monroe blog!! Our theme for today is Anything Goes.

I love the floral stamps from this month's inspiration box. This wreath is no exception! I stamped the wreath from the Spring Wreath stamp set, with Raven ink and colored it with Copics. Then I heat embossed the sentiment from the Happy Rose stamp set with Gilded Sparkle embossing powder, which is one of my favorites!! I colored the edges of an A2 card base with brown marker and then adhered this panel (size 4" x 5 1/2") on to it with glue.

Spring Wreath

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog today with this Spring card with a wreath.

I die cut 2 pieces of Spellbinders Mistletoe Gatefold die on Brutus Monroe Cabbage card stock. The I die cut the Woodland Wreath on BM Brown Butter card stock. I die cut a few flowers with the Small Tattered Florals die on 2 shades of pink card stock. I shaped them into flowers and buds. I die cut the sentiment 'Thank You' from pink card stock using a die from Creative Expressions.

I die cut a circle out of the front of a top folding A2 card base. I adhered the sentiment on the inside of the card base, so that it's visible through the window. I scored the gatefold die cuts and adhered the flap on to the inside of the card base. I adhered the wreath on to one of the mistletoe die cuts and adhered the flowers to it. Here's a view with the mistletoe gatefolds open:

Here's another pic with the gatefolds and the card open:

Hello Sunshine!

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Brutus Monroe blog today with this card using the lovely Tulips stamp set, which is the current stamp of the month.

I stamped the tulips 5 times with Raven detail ink and colored them with markers. I fussy cut them all and colored the edges with black stylefile marker. I stamped the butterfly from the Butterfly Sentiments 2.0 and colored it with markers. I fussy cut that as well. I love the Brutus Monroe scissors for fussy cutting. I took an A2 card base and arranged the fussy cut tulips on it. I then stamped the sentiment from the tulip stamp set with Raven ink. Then I adhered the tulips with foam tape on some sides and glue on others for a dimensional look. I then adhered the butterfly with glue as well.

How do you like this Spring card? I can't wait to see the tulips in bloom!! And if  you haven't seen already, do check out Luisana's cards using this beautiful stamp set! She's so talented!! Here's her Instagram!! Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!
