Kennedy Grace Creations - Release Hop

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Welcome to Kennedy Grace Creations September Blog Hop!

Our newest release of Stamp and Sequins is now live and available for purchase in the store!

Here is what I have created for you:

I stamped the flower image from Friendship Blessings on white cardstock and colored it with copics. I die cut it with a oval die. I took a grey cardstock of size 4.25" x 5.5" and embossed it with the same flower image, using the Wow! white pearl embossing powder. It gives almost a tone on tone look. I added some pink ribbon with a bow. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of card stock and cut it out into a banner. I added a few sequins from Kennedy Grace Creations - Rainbow Sherbet mix for some finishing touch.

We will be giving away a prize package to one lucky winner.

All you have to do is join us for hop and leave a comment on each project. The more you comment the more chances you have to win!! Winner will be announced on Monday.

Get Well Soon Camellias and Thank You

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share a card that I made with one of my new stamps from Power Poppy called Simply Camellias.

I stamped the bunch of flowers from Simply Camellias with Memento Tuxedo black ink, as I wanted to color them with Copics. I colored the image using YR68, Y38, Y35 and YR31 for orangish-yellows, V17, V15 and V12 for violets and G99, YG67, YG63, YG61 and YG03 for greens. The color scheme was inspired by the beautiful pic shared in the Power Poppy - Hues To Use. I cut the panel into a oval and inked the edges with distress ink Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. The script background is actually a napkin from the Dollar Tree. I adhered the napkin on a piece of cardstock and applied mod podge over it (I wasn't sure if it was necessary, but did it anyway). I wrapped a brown twine around it few times and added the bow after adding the image panel.

For the sentiment I used the one from Kennedy Grace Creations' Grace's Little Note. I didn't know where to add the sentiment!! Have you ever faced this dilemma? I just couldn't find a place in the entire card to place a small piece of sentiment!! After a lot deliberation, I finally settled on the top left. I inked the edges of the card base with Distress Ink vintage photo. Though I didn't like this card very much when I had finished it, now I think it kind of looks ok.

Thank you for stopping by. I've been receiving some very kind and lovely comments on all social media including blog, FB groups and Instagram. Thank you so much. I'm overwhelmed with your love and kindness. So, once again, thank you from the bottom of my card. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

You Are Amazing and Some Exciting News

Hello everyone! It's official! I'm on the Kennedy Grace Creations Design Team :) :) So I made a card to with KGC stamps to make the announcement :)

For this card, I used the Kennedy Grace Creations - Grace's Little Note stamp set. I stamped it repeatedly after masking, on watercolor paper. I watercolored it with Distress Inks Seedless Preserves for the flowers, Peeled Paint for the leaves and Antique Linen for the background. For the sentiment, I used the words 'You are amazing' from Winnie & Walter's The Big The Bold and You. I inked the edges of the card base with Seedless Preserves and adhered the water colored cardstock on to it. Then, I added few dropw of Nuvo drops in color Violet Galaxy.

I'm so excited to be working with the wonderful creative ladies. In case you have not seen the new design team announcement, you can see it here and meet the entire team.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
