Congrats Bouquet

Hello everyone!! It's time for a new challenge here at the Unstampabelles. Our theme this month is 'Unlock Your Potential' with a twist to adding a key in your creation. You can create anything that shows unlocking someone's potential, congratulate someone who has done something great etc. The choice is yours. Here's what I've made to inspire you:

I used a beautiful paper that I had hoarded for years from the My Mind's Eye - Lost and Found - Blush, which I had got from Tracy's candy. I inked the edges with Pink Petunia chalk ink. I made some flowers which I cut out using a punch a a cut file on my Cricut. The swirly corner and the leaves were cut on my Cricut. I embossed the swirly corner with clear bark embossing powder from Stampendous.

The key is also cut on my Cricut. I designed the key on the Design Space using the circles and squares. I embossed it with Stampendous Clear Bark powder. The sentiment is hand written.

Do visit the Unstampabelles blog to see the lovely creations by the Susan and DT members. Susan has offered this lovely stencil and jewels as prize for the winner.

I hope you will give this a try and link up your creations.

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments.

Romantic Wedding Window

Hello everyone!! It's time for a new challenge here at the Unstampabelles. Our new theme is 'Looking forward, looking backward' with a twist of adding a window or mirror. Here's what I've made to inspire you:

I used the Romantic Window Silhoutte by Heather M. I cut it with my Cricut and colored with markers. The tiny flowers on the top of window are layered.

The swirly die cut is an svg from Bird's cards. I added a few pearls on the flowers and on the swirly die cut.

Susan is offering 2 beautiful dies for the winner this month.

Hope you are inspired to join in the challenge this month. Can't wait to see what you create for the challenge.

Holographic Bells

Hello everyone!! It's time for a new week inspiration here at the Unstampabelles. Our current theme is 'Sparkle' and the twist is to make us smile. Please remember not the use stamps :)

I recently bought a pack of holographic sheets from the local Dollar Tree. It had both foiled sheets and holographic sheets in colors of gold, red, silver and blue. I was planning to use them for Christmas cards. Well, I finally got the chance. I cut it on my cricut. I don't remember from where I got the bells cut file, but I have it on my Cricut design space for a long time. I cut the bells in red and used kraft card base.

I made another one with grey and silver. The sentiment is hand written on both.

I hope you will join us for this challenge. You can submit your entries here.

Thanks for stopping by. Please let me know your thoughts and comments.

Poinsettia Bouquet

Hello everyone!! It's time for the final week inspiration at the Unstampabelles. Our theme this month is Anything Goes with a twist to add flowers.

Here's what I made to inspire you:

The poinsettias are handmade. I used my punches and colored them with markers. I also drew the veins (The red part of the poinsettias are actually leaves that change color and the yellow part in the center are the actual flower bunches). For the golden beads on the center, I used some microbeads that I bought from the nail art section of Dollar Tree. I The leaves are cut using the MS pine branch punch. I added pearls to look like berry sprays. I also made a bow from red sheer ribbon for a final finishing look to this bouquet. I use combs to help me with tying the bow.

Please visit the Unstampabelles blog for more inspiration. And please remember not to use any stamps!!

This is one of the cards for Caring Hearts Card Drive.

Pink Poinsettia

Hello everyone!! It's time for new inspiration for our current challenge at the Unstampabelles. Our current them is Anything goes with a twist to add flowers. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, I'm in the mode of making Christmas cards for the Caring Hearts Card drive :)

Here's what I made to inspire you:

I love wreaths. I wanted to make a pink Christmas card after seeing so many cards on Pinterest. So I went ahead and made a pink one for you. I hand drew and fuzzy cut the poinsettia (I cut 3 leaves in a layer and used 4 layers for this one). I used my MS pine branch punch to cut out the leaves. All the embellishments are pearls, half pearls and liquid pearl (I had this bottle for almost a year now and finally decided to use it). I used a twine (this one I bought it in India in Itsy Bitsy - almost 2 years ago :D) for the bow. A closer look at the wreath.

I used my border punch to make the fancy lacey border on the white panel. I used a light pink card base for this one, ti match with the wreath.

This is one of the cards for Caring Hearts Card Drive.

Hope you are inspired by this one. Do check out what other DT members have created at the Unstampabelles blog. You are sure to get inspired to make something!!

Vintage Flowers

Hello everyone!! It's time for a new challenge at Unstampabelles. Out theme this month is Anything Goes with a twist to add flowers.

Here's what I made to inspire you.

I used a light brown, almost kraft card base. The corner swirls were cut using The Swirly corners cut file from Bird's Cards. I cut it on white card stock and sponged it lightly with DI old paper. Love the vintage look it gives.

The flowers are handmade. I used a file in my Cricut design space to cut the flowers on white paper and colored it using VersaMagic Pink Petunia and Malted Mauve chalk inks. I do not have the tools for shaping the flowers, so I used my water color brushes which had rounded handles. I used champagne colored rhinestones for the flower centers, to go with the vintage look. The leaves are cut with the Branches cut file by Bird's cards.

Thanks for stopping by. Do visit the Unstampabelles blog and see what other DT members have created. Hope you are inspired to join in with us in this challenge.

Sun

Hello everyone!! It's time for new inspiration at the Unstampabelles. Our current theme is 'Sun' and the twist is to add gold.
Here's what I made to inspire you.

I took a piece of white cardstock and masked off a circle. I sponged DI scattered straw and squeezed lemonade on the upper part and bundled sage for the lower part. Then I removed the mask and sponged some Tsukineko White chalk ink to add a halo effect. I drew the flowers on white cardstock and fuzzy cut them and colored them with DI dried marigold and ripe persimmon. I added gold glitter glue for the center. I cut strips of paper for the stem.

This is a pretty simple card. I hope this inspires you to join in our current challenge. The theme might sound a little difficult at first, but then given some thought, there are pretty easy ways to make cards for this challenge. But please remember not to use any stamps.

Hello Sunshine

Hello everyone! It's time for the October challenge at the Unstampabelles. Our theme this month is 'The Sun' and the twist is 'Gold! Gold! Gold!'.

Here's what I made to inspire you!

I used the card cover cut file from Bird's cards to cut out white cardstock. I colored it using DI Scattered straw and Squeezed lemonade. The sentiment 'hello' was cut as text on my cricut and the 'sunshine' is a SVG file from Bird's cards. I added glossy accents to the sentiment to make it glossy. I added a few golden sequins to add some sparkle to this simple card.

The prize this month is a beautiful embossing folder.

Hope you are inspired to give it a try. And please remember not to use ant stamps.

Musical Score Birthday

Hello everyone! It's the final week for our challenge 'Boys will be boys' at the Unstampabelles.

Here's my card to inspire you to join our challenge:

I made a birthday card for a music lover. The musical notes are for the happy birthday song. I drew the score myself.

The sentiment is also handwritten. I used some black ribbon from my stash. The embossed paper is from the DCWV Embossed paper stack.

This is a very simple, easy to make masculine card. I hope this inspires you to create one for our current challenge. There's only few more days (ends on Oct 2nd Australian time) to join in. Do check out what the team has created to inspire you on this final week here.

Guitar Card

Hello everyone! It's time for new inspiration for our current challenge at the Unstampabelles. Our theme is month is 'Boys will be Boys' with a twist of writing about what makes it a good masculine card. Please remember not to use stamps on your projects.

Here is the card that I made for the mid-month inspiration:

I made this card for my husband's birthday recently. He loves music and used to play Base Guitar back in school. So I thought it would be fun to give him a card with a guitar.

I wanted to try this color combo for a very long time and I thought it worked perfectly for masculine cards. I drew the guitar by hand and fussy cut it. The sentiment is hand-written.

I think music and sports is something that can be used in most masculine cards. Also

I hope my card inspires you to join in our current challenge.

Baby Boy Dresser Card

Hello everyone!! It's time for a new challenge at the Unstampabelles. The theme for this month is 'Boys will be boys' and the twist is to journal about the qualities of a good masculine card. Masculine cards are generally a challenge to make, for people especially like me who cannot refrain from adding a flower, butterfly or a rhinestone. Our challenge encourages you to have a go at making a card for a male of any age, without the use of stamps!

Here is my inspiration:

I was planning to create a dresser card for a long time. Initially I thought of using brown cardstock for the dresser. Then I thought most of the baby dressers in Ikea is white or a light color. So I went with white :) The polka dot embossed card is from DCWV.

I had cut the onesie with my Cricut Explore previously. I embossed the teddy bear using an embosser and then followed the lines to fussy cut it. I added the eyes and nose with my black gel pen.

I used my tiny baby handprint punch to cut the shape of a baby's hand and added it to a frame which I inked with light blue ink.

I added a banner with the hand-written sentiment 'It's a boy'. I folder a piece of the same pattern paper I had used for the onesie to resemble a blanket flowing out of the drawer.

What do I consider to be the qualities of a masculine card -First of all, no butterflies or flowers. And certainly no pink. Sports, Super heros and gadgets can be added as the main focus.

Thanks for stopping by. Do let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Please visit the other design team members' creations as well. They are sure to inspire you with their lovely creations. Don't forget to enter the Unstampabelles challenge. The prize is the set of awesome decoupage sheets and stickers sheets.

Black Butterfly

Hello everyone!! I'm here to share my DT card for the Unstampabelles Challenge. This is the last week for our current challenge White on white with a twist of adding just one more color

This week I decided to add black.

I used a piece of white embossed paper from the DCWV stack for the top panel. I used a lacey black tape. The beautiful black flourish is a sticker. I used my MS Butterfly punch to cut out a butterfly. I used black card stock for layering.

I made this card as a sympathy card. But after finishing it, I was not sure if it would suit it! Do tell me your thoughts.

This is the last week of our current challenge at the Unstampabelles. I hope I have inspired you to join the current challenge of White of white with a twist of adding just one other color. Also, please remember not to use any stamps :)

So how do you like this card? Let me know.

White on White

Hello everyone!! I'm finally back to creating cards! I'm sorry for not posting on my blog for over a month. After moving to our new place, I had a few obstacles in setting up my craft table. To add to that, my laptop hard disk crashed!! Now, I'm finally settled with the craft table, but my laptop is still not working. So please forgive me if my post and photos are not like usual.

This is my first creation as a Design Team member for Unstampabelles Challenge. Our challenge this month is White on White with a twist of adding just one other color. Here is my creation for week 3. When I was thinking of what color to use with white, pink was definitely the first one on my mind.

I scored a piece of white cardstock to form the beautiful pattern on the bottom of the card and I used few pearls to embellish it. The top polka dots embossed panel is from DCWV White Embossed paper pad.

The pink flowers are handmade. I used a punch to cut out the flowers and shaped them. I added a few pearls as the flower center. I love making flowers. The ribbon is from my stash.

Please do check out what other DT members have created by going over to the Unstampabelles blog and leave them some love! Also, if you are inspired, please do join us for the current challenge at the Unstampabelles.

So, do you like my creation? Do let me know your thoughts and comments.
