Peonies

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a floral card to share with you.

It’s no secret that I love Susan’s Garden dies. I used the Spellbinders - Double and Single Peonies die set to make the flowers. I used leaves from this set and the Spellbinders - Foliage and Ladybugs die set. I used copic markers to add some shading to the flowers. The background die is also from Spellbinders - from the Amazing Paper Grace line called Cannetille Rectangle die set. I love the gold on black.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Red Peony

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I have a shadow box with a handmade flower in it.

Recently I watched one of Susan Tierney Cockburn’s live video where she showed how to make a shadow box, a different way. I wanted to try it. I used this Single And Double Peony die set from her line to make the flowers using red card stock. I used the Spellbinders - Amazing Paper Grace - Cannetille Rectangle die set to die cut the window and the frame in gold card stock. Here’s a closer look at the floral arrangement.

How do you like this today? Please let me know! Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day.

Special Day Lace

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog today with this beautiful and elegant wedding card.

If you've followed me for some time now, you'd probably know that I'm a big fan of Amazing Paper Grace dies. I bought this die a while back and never got to use it. I die cut it on Navy card stock and put it on top of white card stock. I tied a bow with silver glitter tulle for some elegance. I stamped the sentiment - it's from an old Just Rite stamp set, with navy ink on white card stock, cut it out and matted with navy card stock.

How do you like this quick and simple card? Do let me know in the comments. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!!

Happy Holidays

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Scrapbookpal blog!! I'm here to share a quick and elegant Christmas card. It's almost Christmas - how did this happen? If you are like me, still needing a few more Christmas cards, you are in the right place. This card takes less than 30 minutes to make, from start to finish. How's that for a win!

Take a teal card stock panel of size 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Ink the edges with Memento Teal Zeal ink to give more depth to the card.

I dusted the panel with powder tool. Now take Altenew - Small Moments stamp and go to town with the beautiful fractal pattern! I stamped the snowflake along the edges of the panel with Versamark embossing ink. Now take Ranger Perfect Pearls in Heirloom Gold color and dust it over the stamped patterns.

I heat embossed the sentiment "Happy Holidays" with gold embossing powder and adhered the die cut around the sentiment.

To finish the card, I added a few drops of Nuvo drops in pale gold color.

That's it! Such a quick and easy card to make.

Please do let me know what you think! Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day and Merry Christmas!!

Elegant Christmas

Hello everyone!! I shared this card on the Scrapbookpal blog this weekend. I have made a elegant Christmas card to share with you today. It's September already, and I'm still trying to finalize my design for the Christmas card that I will send out to my family who are in different parts of the world and I need to mail out those cards before Thanksgiving! Whew! No pressure!

I've been a fan of Spellbinders - Amazing Paper Grace dies for a long time. The elegant look of those swirls and twirls never cease to amaze me. I decided to use one of my favorite card creator dies for this card. It's not a Christmas die, but I decided it would give an elegant look on the ivory card base that I have chosen. I die cut the Cascading Grace die on gold foil card stock. Now if this isn't elegant, I don't know what is!

Next, let's get to the sparkling poinsettia on the left corner. I think all Christmas cards should have poinsettia - I'm a big fan of poinsettias! I love this Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia dies to make my paper poinsettias. For this card, I used the 3 smaller layers to make this smaller poinsettia. I die cut 2 layers on red glitterstock and 1 layer (the largest layer) on green glitterstock. I used liquid glue to adhere the layers together.

Now comes the sentiment - I decided to go with Spellbinders - Amazing Paper Grace again. I used the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment die from the Holly Jolly Christmas die set on the same gold foil card stock. I also used the tiny holly leaves dies from the same die set to cut a few green glitterstock hollies.

Now comes the fun part - putting all of them together. I trimmed a 5" x 7" card base slightly, so that it measured 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". This looked better with the Cascading Grace die cut.

I adhered all the pieces using liquid glue with a fine tip. I added a few red gems to the holly leaves to represent a few berries and a single yellow gem on the center of the poinsettia. Here's a look at the completed card:

What do you think? I think this is pretty easy to make in multiples and elegant as well - do you agree? Please let me know your thoughts and comments!

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Coral Flowers

Hello everyone!! I'm on the Craftwell blog, sharing this Mother's Day card with flowers that I made for my Mom. I got to spend Mother's Day with my Mom after a few years :)

I took an A2 card base and die cut the edge with 2 dies from Spellbinders Scalloped Borders 3 die set. I used the same dies to die cut the edge on a panel of Coral cardstock and adhered it on the inside of the card. I used the Spellbinders Stained Glass die on gold mirror cardstock to cut out the center piece and adhered it on to the card base. Then I die cut some flowers and leaves using the Karen Burniston Flower Pot pop-up dies. I shaped the flowers with the tools and added a half pearl in the center. I arranged the flowers and leaves and adhered them on to the card. I die cut the swirl from the Graceful Corners die set from Amazing Paper Grace & Spellbinders on the same gold card stock, cut a tiny bit on both ends and adhered it below the flowers. For the sentiment panel, I die cut the label die from Inspired by Stamping on white card stock and while the die cut was still in the die, I inked it lightly with Brutus Monroe Stargazer ink. I stamped the sentiment from one of the Verve Stamps stamp set and added it on to the card. Here's a look at the inside of the card:
